During the financial crisis of 2009, french workers held their managers hostage for days to protest against layoffs. The play "HOLD SOMEONE LIABLE" centers around this hostage-taking. It raises questions about the role of the individual in a globalised economy and the relations of power, accountability and guilt.
"HOLD SOMEONE LIABLE" is a political play that aims at making you think about economy, globalisation and the responsibilities in those processes — and about how far people would go, how far you would go if your life plan was under threat.
The play is based on → the Nordic Larp "Hold Someone Liable".
